Wes, this is also the guy who, in English class, also demanded that aren’t, isn’t, doesn’t and shouldn’t were “contraptions”. He argued with the teacher that “contractions” only meant the muscle spasms when a woman “made babies”.

His verbal report was based on a video of Romeo and Juliet, not the book, and was done from memory. I should note that in his mental version Juliet was looking for Romeo from rooftop, that “wherefore art thou” was Juliet calling out because she couldn’t see Romeo. And that they killed each other. His report was described as a “pathetic effort” by our teacher, Sister Mary Paul.

That same guy broke his legs jumping into a whirlpool from a rooftop. Alcohol (surprise) was listed as a cause.

Funny side note about the title. I was in English Lit. in college and someone gave a verbal report about Romeo and Juliet. He spent the next 15 minutes of my life talking about the Capulets and “Romulans” (evil villans of the Star Trek world for those not in the sci-fi know) while I covered my face to avoid his seeing me nearly pissing my pants in laughter.
