Whenever I dream that my dad is hurt in some way (one time he got tasered by aliens) I find out that one of his relatives has died the same day I dream.

This summer I dreamt about a boy named Danny who was in heaven. He had a guitar, but I didn’t get a rock star feel from him — his feel was more chef-y. The next day I found out that my friend, who was a musician named Danny had died the previous day. I actually spent time wondering how it could be my Danny when the person I dreamt about really had this food preparation, chef-y feel.

Two days later I heard that my brother-in-law had been picked up for pot and meth. Yep, his name is Danny.

How come my dreams of makin’ out with Ben in a packed restaurant never come true?
