My wife rarely wears makeup.  She did when we met, but I convinced her that her unadorned face is prettier to me than her made-up one, so she&#039;s stopped wearing it except for &quot;special occasions&quot;.  Thankfully, those only seem to occur two or three times a year.

Now, if only we can get that attitude to rub off on my nine-year-old daughter, we can avoid the whole unpleasant mess altogether.
