That was NOT a bee. Bees have fuzzy parts that pick up pollen, therby helping to spread that flower lovin’ whilst they collect nectar. What you had was a wasp, the lawyers of the flying insect world; They feast on the debris of the world and serve no useful purpose other than to make our lives hell.

While your nectar-craving bee has the ability to sting just once (ripping off it’s lower abdomen and fatally wounding itself in the process) the defecate-feasting wasp can sting many, MANY times with ease, and often does for no other reason than to amuse itself.

Also, make sure you use that windex to clean the shoe you smooshed it with and the area in which it was smooshed; When smooshed, the wasp lets off a pheremone that signals other wasps in the immediate area to come quick and sting anything nearby.

Wasps suck.
