I saw Mulholland Drive all by myself – which isn’t to say that I went by myself. I mean I had the WHOLE theater to myself. Which intensified the spookyness. I swear, Lynch is telepathic and can reach into my mind and pull out elements of my worst nightmares.

Geez, I’m just thinking about this while I’m writing after seen Mulholland Drive months ago, and I’m creeping myself out just before bed – stupid.

one other question: if it was the blond girl’s dream, why were parts of it in the p.o.v. of the director, like the pool man scene? and what was up with that neighbor? why would they trade apartments? and why would blondie have her dishes? and this isn’t a question, but it was so cute when that man spit out the coffee. and this is a question: wasn’t it?
