I’ve been in the same place nearly all my life. Like you, I’m a loud, bawdy broad, who’s always “too this” or “too that” and also like you, I’m finally coming to terms with the fact that I don’t have to aspire to an image I’ll never achieve to be considered attractive. Finally, I’m beginning to like myself just the way I am. I’m sure it’ll be a long struggle, but the battle itself is making me stronger and more confident.
